Dr. Steve and Susan Abrams were married in 1969 in Arkansas City, KS. Steve graduated from Kansas State University College of Veterinary Medicine in 1977. In 1978, they opened Abrams Animal Hospital at the old location down the road. In the 1980's, they changed the name of the business to Cottonwood Animal Clinic. They have four children and fifteen grandchildren, and three great-grandchildren as of 2023. Many of the family members have worked at the clinic over the last 4 decades and several of the grandchildren work here now. Dr. Steve and Susan spent many years invested into the business, and they both deserve their time in retirement from the business.
